Default Intermittent Start-up Noise
95 Windstar LX 97K

Intermittently, it makes a clicking or slight grinding noise upon startup. However, when it happens it does go away. It drives fine. Took it to a transmission shop and they said the transmission checked out ok. They thought it was the EGR valve however there were no codes. Hence, they did not want to replace the EGR. Suggested to drive for a few hundred miles to see if any codes are triggered. Any ideas?
