yes.. i was actually going to do the same thing except different spindles... you'll have to get the ball joints out of another older ford with the tierod ends behind the spindle (closer to the firewall) they are from my experience all the same as long as the tierod ends are behind the spindle.. they started putting the tierod ends in front of the spindle on newer vehicles so you'll have to get one off of a 75 ish or earlier model. i dont know if they will fit.. but i dont think they will (i havent tried it) but if they dont.. you'll have to get that entire suspension set up because everything else is different on the vehicles with factory disk brakes. so you'll have to do some cutting and welding.. once i came to this conclusion i just put my drumss back on and decided i'll buy the conversion kit on ebay later but if you try it and it works.. please post how on here man.. because i will probably do the same thing
