 Rear Suspension --- cradle replacement
'99 Tempo 57,000 miles. Body has minor rust. Runs very well except -- my trusted mechanic tells me my rear cradle is rusted out with holes -- can't weld it. Must replace it and he can't do it. Still can't get someone to tell me how much but sure sounds like it's a big one. Know nothing about cars except that I need one. Can't afford a new car, good used car would probably cost a lot more than fixing it. With the low miles, isn't it worth fixing? Can someone say something about the cradle? |
