Please help i have no idea what is wrong. The right rear wheel on my auto, 4cyl auto, 94 probe locks up only in drive. in reverse the car moves fine, but when i put it in drive it is fine for about 5 feet then it locks up and drags but only the passenger rear none of the others do.
right now the vehicle is in a parking lot because i dont know if i need to tow it to my house or a shop yet, therefore i have not jacked it up yet. i have been trying to fiqure out wth is goin on for hours now. i pumped brakes and ebrake works fine on both tires. no abs light on. so i dont know what is wrong. please help.
You could of broke a spring, adjuster or the shoe might be bad. Either way the wheel will have to be removed and the brakes inspected and the brakes repaired.

found out that the right rear wheel cylinder is out. it is leaking brake fluids and all. the brakes are sticking and wont move much so im going to replace that but wondering if you know of any good manuals or nething or about how long it will take to replace.
I would say around 2 hours if you never done one before. Do one side of the rear brakes at a time so this way you can see how all the levers and springs go on, remember each side is backwards to the other side.
Get the drums turned too.

hey mark thanks for all your help.. as replacing i noticed that the right shoe was really loose as in moving up and down with just one finger, so i went to autozone (being that they were the only store that carried the parts lol) and picked up a hardware kit because the pin and retainer clip that holds the shoes on were corroded and looked like the size of a toothpick. put drums then tire on and voilla no problems like new lol for a 94 but yeah autozone.com did have all nessasary how-tos
Remove the lines to the old cylinder then the 2 bolts that hold it on. When you get the new cylinder, bench bleed it to get all of the air out of the clyinder and when you reinstall it, bleed it through the lines at the master cylinder and if you have a good pedal you won't have to bleed the brakes at the individual wheel cylinders.

You have to bleed the brakes diagonally! At the wheels though if the fluid was allowed to leak out then a bench bleed of the master cylinder would be a good idea(can be on the car as well)

If you have intermittant running problems or a flat spot/buck/dying/cutting out while accelerating.
Do your self a favor and try some dedicated gas
line dryer, Double or even triple dose it, It's cheaper
then throwing parts at a problem that doesn't throw
codes!!
Always the furthest brake from the Master Cylinder and work your way to the closest.
RR
LR
RF
LF

On the Probe you have to do RR, LF, LR, RF!! It has a split circuit like that.
