Default Massive vibration at hwy speeds when braking

94 mustang - shudders real hard when slamming on the brakes at hwy speeds. I think it's suspension but not sure.

More likely warped disc brake rotors.

theoldwizards right, at highway speeds push the brakes normaly not too hard and if the vibrations slow as the wheel speed slows I would just have the rotors turned (not that expensive) and you should be good. While your in there, if you need brakes might as well get new ones to go on your fresh rotors

If the vibration is felt in the steering wheel it is the front rotors. If you feel the pedal pulsating you have issues in the rear.
