Default 08 F 350 Parking Brake Alarm

The parking brake alarm wont shut off, I can pull up on the E brake pedal and it will. does anyone know if theres a recall or a history of the springs on these pedals wearing out?

I think the switch is fine just maybe the spring is weak or something, theres only 60000 miles on the truck but thought I'd post on here to make sure its not something simple before I go buy a spring from something and stick on there to pull it up harder.

check the parking brakes. they are inside the rear rotors, the levers might be rusted and not releasing completely

its not actually like.. a brake problem ... it really seems the pedal just doesnt come up far enough like a 1/8 of an inch

O and it only happens when its cold... like... 30 or below

... and it doesnt seem to stop being stupid until the interior of the truck warms up... but the pedal isnt sticking all the way down.... and the switch isnt either cause I can get it to turn off by pulling up it just doesnt stay up...
