How much did you pay for them to turn the light on?
If they made the light come on then they need to re-set it....customer service!

It may take 40 key cycles for it to re-set on its own. IIRC A Key Cycle is Start with engine cold...get it up to operating temp then back to cold again....Somebody correct me if that's wrong.

This was then caused by them putting the Escape on the dynamometer and since the back wheels are not turning got the ABS light to come on.

So it is not 15 minutes to reset but more like the 40 Cycles...
Is it the same if I disconnect the battery for about 15-20 minutes, wich I did already.

Thanks

I've had the ABS come on on a few brake jobs I've done or by under the same circumstances as yours.....spinning just the front tires on the hoist.
I used a scan tool to reset it but on a coulpe occasions I've had the ABS reset itself when I forced it to function under hard braking. Can't hurt to try. Disclaimer: be careful you don't loose control.
