| ranger v-8? Why doesn't ford put a v-8 in a ranger??????or do the retro thing on the ranger chassis and put the 5.4 supercharged ford gt motor in it.??? they couldn't make enough of them
This would be earth shattering!!!
Just listen for a second.say ford were to say come out in 2009 with a retro rod versionn of say a 49 ford pickup??? and in 2010 a ninety 50 ford pickup etc..etc..
I'd like to see a 34 ford (chopped top coupe) retro. this besides the cobra replicas has to be most mass reproduced kit cars.
The earth shattering moment?? are all mustang built in one plant?if,not why can't they build TWO different mustangs say if you went to the dealership and you had the choice of two different mustangs: A.1960's fast back mustang or a 69 or a 70 or a 71 to 73 body style.???? Thats three and i ain't retyping all that shit.lol
I know they do research but they need flexible and see how hard it would be to reskin a mustang into a 34 body??? i just know if they do the justice in the current mustang and turned the same attention to the 34 body they would have a homerun on their hands.?
?????
look, what i'm getting ready to say something that pisses people off but a friend of mine bought a 2004 gt he liked the car but i had to ask the question? did you wish you had waited??"pause" "yeah,i wished i had waited.. The thing was that he had just test drove a newer gt and said he could tell the horsepower gain and he loved the new look. but i will tell you he had the 2004 gt with all the options.the car was a dark shadow grey with the matching bullit rims. |

| I think the ranger is way to light-duty for a v8 honestly they were made to be a small pickup. If u want a v8 you probably want to go with an f-150

There's a place I know about, where the dirt road runs out, and we can try out the 4 wheel drive..come on now, what do you say?
I've got the perfect place in mind, it's in the middle of nowhere, only one way to get there, you got to get a little mud on the tires.

| Ford seems to be selling diesel rangers everywhere else but the US. Ide race an overboosted & tweaked diesel ranger against a stock gt500 and most likely win. Any one whos seen an f-350 longbed four door cab, 4X4 with a powerstroke pull of mid 10's knows what im talking about. |

Last summer at our local 1/8th dragway I got to see several big Fords and Dodges run. All of them had the big exhaust on them, as far as other modifications though, I'm not sure what they were packing. Not one ran under 10.000 on an 1/8th mile strip. We'll have to see what this year has in store though.

| Yeah, that Ford is pretty souped up (nothing you couldn't do with a yates headed motor in a half ton), but watch the dodge leave the line, the tree has the ford waiting about 5 seconds on the dodge. so the dodge is running about a 16, which is what you see most big trucks running at a best et.
I don't think that truck represents the average diesel you see at the strip either.

MUCH,MUCH nicer then what's in the states. Real 4 door, leather interior, great looking truck with around 30 MPG on average. Tow capacity is 6,000 lbs I believe....imagine a Ranger with a 6,000 lb tow rating. Great truck!!!!!!! |
