Default Did ford kill the crown vic?

The grand marquis and the town car have 2009 models, but I cant seem to find the crown vic, has ford admitted defeat in the police cruiser market or am I missing something?

That's mainly because the 2008/2009 crown vics are being sold as fleet vehicles only.They are still being sold,but only to company owning civilians,
only to be used as police cruisers, taxi cabs, rental vehicles.etc.....

So what is going to happen with the plans to market a new Crown Vic basedon the Jaguar sedan chassis platform? Last heard that about a year before Jag was sold?

Recent reports say the Crown Vic/Town Car replacements are going to based on Fords Down under RWD platform.
