2010 or 11 Ford Explorer spied(sorta)

it's sorta cobbled but it's the explorer I call it franctaurflex.

The Flex isn't as ugly in person as it is in the pictures. I can't say that I am particularly fond of it. Ford is coming along in the direction of a vehicle that I would design if given the opportunity.

Essentially I am looking for a 25 mpg minivan/panel truck that has a long enough hood that one can work on boths sides of the engine without having to remove stuff to get at it. I want to be able to fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood or sheet rock in the back with the seats folded down. The roofline should be low enough to get good mileage.

I had both, and aerostar, and a windstar, neither had enough room behind the rear seat. The windstar almost did, but another foot would have been better, I think 1.5 feet would have allowed for the 4x8 sheet of plywood.

One thing I feel confident in, is the styling of the new (2011MY) "unibody" Explorer. It will look and feel a lot like the current Explorer, just not "body on frame".

Picture #3 is the Ford Explore America concept shown at the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The roof line is lower (ala Taurus X) but it definitely =has an Explorer grill.
