Unhappy 92 T bird power drain need good advice

Hello this is my first post. i just bought a 92 t bird with a power drain. the thing is if the car sits for more than 2 days it will not have amps to crank but the lights will work . When driving my volt meter is reading about 10 but the battery will still charge. can this be caused buy corroded battery terminals. I just cleaned the posts there is a small amount of it in the wire no more than a 1/2 inch. Only on the positive wire. If this was the problem then the motor would not crank over in the first place? (right or wrong) Could it possibly be my alternator diodes? should i check my battery ground. No shorts in cables themselves. Just bought new battery. This is the fist time it has died on me. So battery is fine. if you have had
the same crape happen to you then your advice would be thanked greatly!

!please help!

Alot of the time it is in fact a bad battery cable. How many amps is the car drawing when the key is in the off posistion though?

Thanks! That is my next step! I will let you know. I think you are most likely right. I had it hooked up and checked and the guy told me the same thing. But this is just one of the bugs one of the bugs that I need to work out. The other one is my tail lights in the back are not working as well as the plate lights. The center brake light works just fine. I checked the two grounds and both seem to be ok. Signals work in the front but flash really fast so I'm stumped? Buy the way its not a fuse

Your guess is probably better than mine
