 about to buy a new alternator do i need too???????????
i just replaced my neg and positive terminals. thought i had a bad connection but after driving the car and a jump (drove for may b 5 min ) the car would not restart and acted like it still had a dead battery so the only thing i can come up with is that it is the alternator buy the way i did not put the ground back where it was to begin with it used the bolt on the front of the intake manifold support it was a hell of a lot easier to get to and bolt up but seams to be a good ground .the car had a little juice on the first jump had almost non on the second.it cranked over pretty fast on the first try. the second was a joke and the car died after 2 minutes. what is the deal??????????
my alternator is like $103 so help me figure it out will buy if i have to but don't wont to for no reason
i know it is not a power drain . I have more juice in it the next day the door lights work ex. even though the battery was dead the night before.
