Default ABS light stays on

Recently, I changed the alternator for a 03 Taurus. I noticed that the ABS and check break light stays on (when car is in park, drive, reverse and neutral). I changed the break pads and break fluid but the light still stays on. Can someone please help.

Thanks

You will need to get the ABS computer scanned. Check all fuses first before getting it scanned.
