Remove the key cylinder you will see a metal tab on a half moon plastic piece cover with elctrical tape and reinstall cylinder.T o remove cylinder place in the run position and use a pocket screwdriver to push the release through the lower column cover.

Thanks KDR, I will look there next, the fix on the half moon plastic iginition part did not work on my truck, there is no metal tab.

There is no way to get the white plastic part out after the key lock
clyinder is removed.

Thanks

KDR No chime behind the radio.

Which color wire coming out of the igintion switch wire bundle would go to that loud ass anoying beeber? [not the wire bundle that goes to the igintion key code sensor]

If I knew the color of that wire I can just cut it and not have tear the dash apart anymore!!

Thanks
Gene
