| goofy keyless troubles HELP! Howdy everybody, I recently bought a 1996 taurus with 3.0 ohv and this vehicle has an aftermarket (i think) keyless system. The problem is that the car will not start unless you hit the unlock on the remote first. I have only one remote and if it fails some time I am stuck! Also getting a spare key without another remote is useless. I am assuming some sort of antitheft system is becoming armed.(must be factoy cause i dont see an aftermarket one). I have read through a chilton manual without finding a clue. Any help would be Great! |

| Coming off the ignition switch they will have a wire cut a spliced if you reconnect it to itself it will bypass the starter disable so you can start it with out the remote. |
