|  Speed Control recall
My '00 explorer had the speed control deactivation switch recalled, along with a number of other vehicles. My dealership disconnected the part, but now i'm waiting months to get this fixed.
Can anyone help me out by taking a picture of where this hooks up under the hood. I just want to re-connect it my self. Been driving the vehicle for 7 years without problems.

It is near the brake master cylinder, look for a plug that is not connected to anything.
Contact the dealer and tell them to fix it asap or make it work again.

I wish it would be that simple,the original parts were fused on the wrong side.I have seen 2 personally that turn into crispy fried hulls. | |

| speed control harnes
I had my transaxle rebuilt and they lost the speed control sensor harness and i cant find one. | |

Well then They need to replace it, why do you need to replace it when they lost it?
