I hope someone can help. I have a 96 F150 w/113000 miles. Since I bought it a few months ago the rear gauge has never read accurately (always "full") and truck would not run when rear tank selected. NOW, the front tank reads "full" (its got about 4 gallons) and truck won't start on it either. I tested the switch with a multimeter and at least some electricity goes through the switch. I don't hear any sound from the fuel pumps either so I suspect that somewhere power is not getting to the tanks (sending units/pumps). Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot will be helpful.
