Question Fuel Pump Fuse keeps blowing

Hi everyone I am new here. I am currently having problems with my fuel pump fuese under the hood keeps blowing out. I am thinking maybe a bare wire some place is touching the body but I don't know where all the wires are and what else is on the circuit that could cause it to over load. Before it was lasting a couple weeks before it blew out again but now its doing it every time a put a new fuse in and try to start the car it blows out instantly. If anyone here knows where to find a wire diagram for this circuit or what all is on this circuit that could cause it to blow all the time it would be big help. Thanks in advance.

I have replaced the fuse. It worked for month then weeks now the fuse only last days. I spoke to the dealer and they said that this is a problem at Ford. But, no recall? When I pressed he would not say anything else. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Possibly a bad Fuel Pump.

The first 3 posters never said what kind of Car they had, probably why they got no help.

Turns out my problem was a wiring problem in the tank where the wiring harness plugs into the pump itself. Took on the job of changing the fuel pump as a last resort and am very glad that I did. The wires appear to be more burnt than skinnedLike the wires were to small for the load they were carring, but could not really tell. At any rate it could have lead to a major disaster at some point and am very glad that I spent the $125.00 and the 4 hours to get it changed out by myself with the help of a floor jack to support the tank. I would however suggest somthing I did not do and that is to insure the tank is empty first. It was wary heavy and ackward trying to put the tank back into place with even only fourth of a tank in it. Good luck in anything you set out to do on your own!Would post a picture of the wires but do not know how to it asked for a url of which lost me

you probably have a short start by checking aroung the wires that are under the air intake hoe that runs across the driver side of the motor water sensor wires are close to heater plumbing and would short other systems also look for wires were o2 sensor connect to other wires.

i would just double check all fuses to make sure no others are blown out.
