Default 1999 Expedition Interior, Door, and Running board Lights

I have a question about my interior, door, and running board lights. When a door or back hatch is open they all stay on. Is there any override or way to turn them off so I can leave my door open when parked or back window or hatch without draining my battery?

we just pulled the fuse under the back panel. Have had it that way for a couple years without problems. Now however we can't get the running lights to work on our camper (first time we've tried to pull something) and wonder if they run on the same fuse.
