Default 1992 Ranger Turn Signal Problems

Greetings everyone. My son has a 1992 Ranger that has been in the family since new. The turn signals won't work but the emergency flasher works. The light bulb and fuses appear to be fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check all bulbs and fuses.
One possibility is a faulty turn signal flasher
Not sure on this model if it has a separate hazard flasher...
Another strong possibility is the multifunction switch on the steering column.
This will affect both the turn signals and the hazards.
