AlanH Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Lived in Flint area all my life Posts: 4	Turn off auto-lock, 2000 Windstar I have a 2000 Windstar and want to turn OFF the auto-lock feature. Newer Fords have a procedure in the Owner's Manual (3X hit the switch, turn on the ignition, 3X hit the switch, turn off the ignition procedure for newer vehicles does NOT work). The 2000 Owners Manual says "see the dealer". I went to the library and looked in the real Ford factory manuals to no avail. Does anyone know what the procedure is for this age system?
