I am looking for some help. I have an '89 ford escort that just suddenly died going down the road and now will not start. It cranks over just fine but will not fire. The real funny thing is that for about a month it would fire and run for about 3 minutes or so and then die and not start for about 10 days or so. Then it would start again and run for a bit and die. Now it wont start at all. We have checked the distributor and plugs and timing belt, and so on. We replaced the coil and checked all of the fuseable links and fuses and whatnot and are at a loss. Any information I can get would be great!
