Default Wipers, dome light, no workee

I had some tune up work done on my 96 ranger. I am wondering if during code reading, they may have caused some circuits to puke? My wipers, dome light, and under hood light does not work. Are there some relays that might pertain to all three?

I think they have the Central Timer Relay in common. I am not sure if that is integral to the GEM or if it is separate.
Sorry to not be too much of a help.
You may want to check individual fuses.

This one is a simple one I fixed by accident. Let's start at the beginning. The daughter drove it the other day after I had the repairs. Her normal car has automatic lights. She left them on and I had to recharge the battery. Well, um, I thought I should clean the positive terminal on the battery because it was somewhat corroded. This I did without removing the NEGATIVE. I simply related the symptoms to the repairs I had had done. So today, I was putting an EGR sensor on, and I wanted to reset the check engine code, and wallah, I got dome light and wipers. It felt real good to call the dealer and cancel my 8am appointment next week!
SO, if you stumble upon this wiper problem, and the fuses all check out, maybe one should try the old unplug the neg. term. and reboot. Heck, works on the PC, why not the old auto.
