Lightbulb 97 Ford Ranger fog light problems

I recently replaced the fog lights on my 97 Ford Ranger with a limited amount of success. They worked for about 10 minutes, but after a run to the post office, they quit on me again. The LED on the switch inside doesn't light up, and the lights are wired correctly. I have checked the fuse, and it is fine. I'm thinking that a wire wiggled loose, but it all seems to be grounded fine.... Any other Ideas?

Bear with me. this is from the service manual.
A. Start with everything off.,

1. Move headlamp switch to ON
1.A. Verifiy they are operational. Yes goto 2. No - You go more problems dude.
2. Return switch to off.
2.B Check Fuse Junction Panel Fuse 8 (10A) not sure which check fuse 8 at all fuse panels.
3. Pull the fog lamp relay.
3A. Turn Headlamp switch on.
3B. Verify Low beams work
3C. Measure voltage @ fog lamp relay. Pin 5 (middle/center With 3 pins @ top) Dark green with light green tracer(DG/LG) and Ground. Should read > 10Volts.
Yes move to #4 No. Repair DG/LG (where ever it goes :-)
4. Measure voltage @ pin 3Black with Yellow tracer (bk/ye). (bottom, with 3 pins @ top) and ground. should read greater than ( '>' )10 Volts. yes move to step 5. Else repair that one too.!
5. Disconnect the fog bulbs. Measure RESISTANCE. Between fog lamp relay pin 1 (Top, far right, with 3 pins @ top) and the hot side of the fog lamp connector (Tan and orange, T/O) Resistance should be Less than 5 Ohms. Check again for the right side. IF not fix that wire.
More next post. time for bed

7a.@ the relay check the Lightblue with Black tracer wire, and ground. should be < 5 ohms.
8 pull the switch again check for resistance with pins 3 and 4 (view is now perspective of rear of switch. Please disregard where it says ground for this step)Should be less than 5 ohms. Check with switch in both positions. reconnect.
9. pull the relay. pull fuse 8. Check. If good go to 10. else fix Black/yellow wire(somewhere)
10. pull switch. pull both fog lamps.
10a. check pin 1 Tan/orange for resistance to ground. Should be open or greater than 10,000 ohms. no: repair that wire/.
