I have a 2002 Ford F150 supercab. My trouble start with me not being able to shift out of park. In tracing the trouble I discovered a blown fuse to the cigarette lighter and data communications link. When I replaced it, it too blew. I then discovered my power windows did not work. It traces to a cb. My question is, what does the cb stand for? And is there some procedure for changing it out, ie taking power off of it first? I think I may have cleared the short to the lighter fuse as a 15 amp fuse is holding but I won't know for sure until I can get to autozone for them to test the data link again. Would appreciate any advice.
