I just recently purchased a 1999 ford expedition with the 5.4 Eddie Bauer. the truck has been sitting in a lot for about 6 months and will not start. im getting good spark but no fuel. iv checked all relays and fuses. i have been trying to find the diagrams to check power at the connectors at the inertia switch and at the pump it self. but so far i have fallen short. could the pump in this truck just die after sitting? the prev owner said it ran just fine before they parked it.
As the saying goes use it or lose it!! How are the electrical connections from the battery and pop open a few random connectors if there is corrosion I would get all that cleaned up. If it sat with less than a full tank water has been condensing out of the air and you should run a couple bottle of heet before you even start it to prevent any water related issues.

If you have intermittant running problems or a flat spot/buck/dying/cutting out while accelerating.
Do your self a favor and try some dedicated gas
line dryer, Double or even triple dose it, It's cheaper
then throwing parts at a problem that doesn't throw
codes!!
today i jumpered the fuel pump relay 30 and 87 and the lights dimed down and the jumper got hot. so the pump was drawing ALOT of amps.. i just droped the tank and yanked the pump to find it filled with corossion >.<.. i poped the bottom off where the pump part is and i am unable to spin it. rusted shut.. damn.. i need a new pump, the cheapest place i can find is at autozone for 100 bucks.. but thats to rich for my blood. is there any place else i can find just the pump for cheap? thanks
