Default e-250 goofy gauges, stalls with accessaries on

Howdy,
I have a 95 e-250 L-6. Simple old cargo van. Driveing along and she just quits. Got out and checked battery terminals first, found a lose one. Tightened, drove home. Thing is now the oil pressure gauge is all the way pegged above the H. Water temp moves around and flutters a little. Amp gauge reads out put at about 10-11 volts.(low) Fuel gauge looks good. Needles move when you rev the engine and the amp gauge actually drops. If I start turning on the accessaries, using the brakes etc it stalls at idle.
I thought it was the alternater so I replaced it and nothing has changed.
I used my code retriever and got a water temp sensor out of range( I replaced it along with some vacuum lines,EGR, EGR sesor and vacuum manifold about two months ago) and then the BOO was not detected and the O/D was not right. But I might not have actvated the switches at the right time. I'll do it again.
Mine has the digital ODO and analog trip meter
.
Thanks in advance,
Bill

OK, a few updates. I spent the morning reading 15 pages of posts and when ever I saw other problems simular to mine I noticed no replies. Most commen response was to check grounds. Did that today, cleaned terminals extra good, replaced end on major BATT ground( goes to stud on starter motor) checked ground wire to body. No change. Used volt meter and and reads ALT out put at 14+ volts. When I turn engine off it takes a long time to drop down into the 12+ volt range. What should it be ?About 12.65 or so?
Turning accessaries on still makes needles on gauges jump and even speedo jumps a little with each flash of the hazards. ODO display blinks on and off too. By the way,I don't have the analog trip meter as stated before,it is all digital.
Thanks,
Bill

Grounded sender will peg to high.

Bad alternator or bad ground, or bad battery cables or conenctions.

Probably discharging... bad alternator

Check for vacuum leak, and one at the brake booster.
If your battery is dead, and the alt is not charging enough... that will also cause it to stall.

See connection comments and vacuum comments above.

Assuming that the sensor is still good, then check your connections.

No one suggests check your grounds more than I do, and I usually include... " not just the big fat ones, but the little ones too! The ones on both sides of the upper radiator supports, any that you see to the fenders, and especially the one by the PCM, on or near the firewall."

YES 12.66 volts for a fully charged battery.

Turning accessaries on still makes needles on gauges jump and even speedo jumps a little with each flash of the hazards. ODO display blinks on and off too. By the way,I don't have the analog trip meter as stated before,it is all digital.
