You have a Generic Electronic Module (GEM) that controls the door locking function as part of the active anti theft system. This module can result in some bizarre happenings. It is usually located near the fuse box in the passenger compartment and may be suffering from moisture or poor connections.
Your Ford dealer parts guy can help you with the location of your GEM. You may be able to clean the connections (3 I think), and I have heard of the unit being separated, dried and re-sealed. Your Ford parts guy may have one in stock and would show it to you.
Look for evidence of moisture getting into the vehicle from windshield or cowl area and affecting the GEM directly.
Good luck.
