Default Unprogrammed 07 Expedition KEY

How do you personally program a unprogrammed key for a 2007 Expedition.

You cannot program a chipped key for the Ford PATS. It requires very special scanners that are only available to Ford dealers. All the keys must be programmed at the same time.

Well, let me say that on my 1999 expedition, you can program the new keys if the right chip is in the key. You need both Original keys, insert one and turn on the ignition but do not start the engine, then put in the second Original key and turn it on but not to start, then put in the new key and turn it on but not to start and it will be programmed. I have kept my Original keys in a safe to avoid the "go to the dealer for key and recoding" expense. vann
