Smile 260 or 289 ?????? 63 ford galaxie

Im trying to figure out which engine I have in my 63 Galaxie 500 4 dr sedan. The vin says its a 260 but the block is painted blue with orange valve covers and air filter cover (not factory colors, so Ive read) are they're any discerning characteristics between the two motors??

Thank,

Fish
