|  missing wants to stall
Hi i have a ford 1996 3.0 L engine when i start the engine it runs fine.
but when it starts to warm up it starts to miss&backfire and wants to
stall.but when its at normal temp it runs fine again.
here is what i changed so far
1-coil pack
2-wires
3-spark plugs
4-gas filter
5- air filter
6-took off egr valve clean clear.

Have you checked the fuel pressure? Do you have access to a scan tool which can display the data stream? If you do, look at the fuel trim and see what the air/fuel ratio looks like.

Any local repair shop should be able to help you. If you don't trust them to diagnose the problem the alternative is the dealer.

| 96 aerostar missing wants to stall
Hi i tested system with a code reader
1-PO 135
2-P1131
3-P1132
would a Ho2 sensor cause this.

these would be a result of the problem not usually the cause,I would really like to see freeze frame data or the live sream data | |
