Default 1993 Ford Escort surging at idle...
Hey, I am kind of new here and don't know a whole lot about cars, but a buddy of mine recommended asking this in a forum.

I have a 93 Escort which surges at idle and has occasionally cut out on me and my wife. I have to put it in neutral anytime I come to a stop and it doesn't stall out. I had it looked at but they couldn't find anythings wrong with it. I have noticed it tends to do this after it has been running for a while.

Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

Sound kinda like you have a vacuum leak is the check engine lamp on?

Engine lamp isn't on, but someone did suggest a vaccume as well so I think I'll start there.
