 Leaking fuel return line-'93 Merc Topaz
Hello , Rust has taken its "toll" on our steel fuel return line on a 1993 Mercury Topaz ! It appears to be at the joint , under the floor pan , below the rear seat . Their telling me the plastic/rubber covered line, from the fuel tank, is still good , but the steel line, with a special end is leaking gas . right at that joint ! Ford claims the steel gas return line became obsolete in 2002 ! DOES ANYBODY HAVE A SUGGESTION ON THIS REPAIR , the car still runs good ,with a little less than 100,000 miles ! Thanks Lee Petrie |
