Question EFI into a '69 T-Bird

I want to restore a '69 T-Bird as a Driver.

I want to have an EFI engine for power AND economy.
(shooting for 30-25 MPG)

Is there an EFI conversion avaialable for the '69 460?
OR
Am I better off swapping in a later EFI engine and AOD Trans?
If so which one, 5.8L or 460 EFI from a van/truck?

>>It will need gobs of torque for this weighty classic.<<

What is the best Donor vehicle?

Has anyone doe a similar swap?

I REALLY NEED to get out of my mini-van into something more unique and classic.

TIA

Tom in Texas

I sure don't know about 25-30 MPG with 351w, and witha 460 I'd think it would be impossible.

I'd try to hunt down 86-91 LTD engine, or a 92-93 Thunderbird engine. They do a pretty good job of pulling a heavy car, and if you keep your foot out you can get awesome mileage.

Get ready for the 351 boss build this summer, 4v closed chamber heads, 2.25/1.75 valves, .750 lift, 12.5:1 piistons, wieand tunnel ram, nitrous, I think its gonna roar!

Holley and Edelbrock make a EFI conversion system which has a tuneable control system. I don't know if it is offered for BBF. You would have to check on that. It is offered for SBF.
