Default 67 fairlane 2 dr. vibration problem
I need help... I rebuilt my 289 into a 347 stroker ( 400 hp ). I replaced the 3 spd on column shifter to a 4 spd top loader floor mount (all original equip). When i let off clutch in 1st gear i get bad vibration thru car, including steering wheel. I tightened all trans mount bolts, motor mounts. but still have bad vibration.
can i get help?

Did you resurface the flywheel prior to installation? It might be caused by a warped flywheel. Did you have the problem before the swap?

Oil on the flywheel or clutch can cause vibrations like you describe.
Broken springs in the clutch hub can cause some vibration too.
You may want to check the fit of the slip yoke and the condition of the U-joints.
