I just wanted to post a note to everyone that I completed the engine swap on my 2001 Ford Focus and am now happily driving a car with a 30k engine. All seems to be working fine, after 3 weekends of work. Some Tips: 1. The Ford Manuals are great, they help you work in the right order, taking off parts/wires/hoses/etc,..., USE THEM. 2. Don't Forget a SINGLE vacuum hose. My brother and I forgot to hook up the vacuum hose for the brakes and it messed up the idle (and brakes) terribly. 3. Having the computer to hook up to the car for checking codes is nice too. It's the first engine swap I handled by myself, with some help and I'm a happy camper right now.
