Default need to change pan gasket or not

when dropping pan and changing transmission filter on a 2003 windstar iwth 40K, do i need to buy and also change the pan gasket, or is it typically reusable at this age ?

NEVER use RTV on a transmission pan gasket. Get a transmission kit from pioneer, they have a better gasket that is very easy to install. No RTV is needed.

i got the Wix kit from Amsoil, its on its way in the mail. Not sure if it has the pan gasket or not, the picture looks like the gasket for the filter, but I don't know.
