I start my car, and when it is cold it immediately dies
when it is decent outside, the car jumps when you give it gas, when it shifts into drive, overdrive, or reverse it also jumps, and the check engine light comes on and off until the gas is half way to the floor
If i plug in the IAC, the car wants to idle at probably 2000 RPM (just a guess, i have no tach) and it will go 20 without touching gas petal
I cant remember the code it gave off, but i remember it was a IAC failure code and i replaced the IAC and still had same problems
the car sometimes also seems to be without pressure and will shake at like 60, then if i park my car and start it back up, the petal seems to be frozen
i just want to get this car fixed
any suggestions?
I would start by checking for trouble codes. If there are no codes, I would try to access the data from the ECM and check for possible sensor out of range problem. Check the coolant temp readings. If you do have codes, post them.
i do have a code coming out of it for the IAC malfunction
i will have to get the code off of it again
the coolant temps is good, i had a little leak come up and its on a 7 lb radiator cap, but it did this before
