| '97 escort lx I have 104,000 on my car and the sevice engine light just came on. I've misplaced my manual so I came here. What causes this and what do I need to do. It has something to do with the emissions stuff I think.

| I checked at the auto parts store and the CO 2 sensor made the light come on. The guy seemed to think it might be some bad gas, and he may be right, because the light came on right after a fill-up. Is this part the same as the oxygen sensor when I'm looking up parts ? |
