hello all hope you can help
stopped at a local tranny shop have a noise coming from torque area he tells me its the dampners in torque inverter are noisey not to worry uless it get loader any thoughts on this matter

Does it make a whining noise that changes with the RPM? Most trans shops around my area will sell a rebuild if they have to remove the trans. That being the case here, I would drive it till it stops working.

no its more like a tinny heat shield noise but coming from in side of bell housing area | |

Have you gotten any second opinions? I haven't heard anything similar to what you have described. I have had several with a whine. Is it possible that the noise is exhaust related?

ive crawled under my self
and its coming from inside bellhousing area
go fiqure
i my take off inspection sheild for fly wheel and look and listen
i no its got me puzzled to
