'06 4.0L in a '98 w/blwn 4.0L?

mase450rider Junior Member Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 1	'06 4.0L in a '98 w/blwn 4.0L? so can i put a 06 four liter ranger motor in a 98 that has a 4.0? i think i threw a rod the other day and found a 06 four liter engine with only a few thousand miles on it. was wondering how much modding has to be done or is it just a straight bolt up and plug and play?
