I have a 2001 Ranger 2.3l 2wd manual. There is only 53000 miles on it and when i push the clutch in and put it in first i hear this metal scraping noise like there is some metal shavings bouncing around, when i put it in nuetral it still makes said noise. however, when i pull the clutch out the noise stops. i dont know if it is the fly wheel, clutch, a finger is messed up on the pressure plate, or something. Any help is appreciated.
Another thing in the transmission, everytime i shift into third gear it grinds

, the clutch is pushed in ALL the way when shifting. it doesnt grind when i bring the rpms up to 4500/5000 and then shift. I dont know if its the sync-rows or something but it only grinds in third, no other gear.
THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP!!!
