 replaced TR sensor now.......
Hello everyone....A few days ago my car{1996 Taurus} was displaying the following symptoms,flashing od/off/on light,slipping,running like the tranny is about to kick the bucket,power steering going out around curves........So i replaced the Transmission range sensor,all of these symptoms have now dissapeared.But now whenever im sitting at a light in D it will go out of gear and into neutral{usually takes between 5 and 15 seconds}....Ive tried everything even reinstalling TR sensor and making sure connections were good,and when i installed TRS i installed it when the car was in neutral......fluid is at a normal level and was flushed around 15,000 to 20,000 miles ago.........I keep hearing there is some kinda adjustement tool for the TRS but if that is so i cannot figure out where it would go.........Any Help? |
