Default Hi everyone my first post! Xr2i Compression test results

Hi I've recently bought a 1990 H reg XR2I 1.6 and I've been having a few problems
The main problem is that I'm lossing coolant somehow and the car can get hot (not in the red zone thankfully), can't see any wet patches on the floor or around any pipes. So I did a compression test on the engine today, got 200psi on cylinders 1 and 4, and I got 215psi on cylinders 2 and 3. Im not too sure what to make of the results as I can't find a proper specification for it . Can anyone help? Is this healthy?! lol
Thanks for looking

that should be fine consistancy is more important than the actual number(within reason)Gave you looked at the sparkplugs?Does it smoke at all? What about the radiator cap leaking while driving?

Hi thanks for the quick response
I changed the spark plugs last weekend and the old ones looked pretty good, a bit of an orange colour on them was all. Haven't seen any smoke coming from the exhaust, not on cold start up or when I put my foot down. I had a look at the radiator cap and couldnt see anything (i checked straight after a drive) but it could be jus a small leak and evaporating away whilst i'm driving No white mayoinaise in the oil filler cap either. Really stuck for ideas on what it could be got it booked in to a garage on friday so i'll keep you posted, fingers crossed! lol

Thankfully it turned out to be a loose pipe connection on the water pump, do have slight leak from one radiator corner so going to have to get that sorted soon.

Does anyone know any good places to get spares for XR2I's? preferbly around the essex area. Im after mainly interior bit but after some mechanical bits too?
