Default Ford 2.0 DOHC valve train clatter
I have a ford ZX2 with a 2.0 DOHC engine and there is valve clatter toward the back of the engine. The engine has about 60k miles. The engine was bought used with 46k and installed in the car. I am concerned about the noise with so few miles, but have heard that these engines generally last a long time. Is the clatter normal for these DOHC engines? The clatter seems to decrease or disappear as the RPM is increased.
