Question why wont it start????????????

after my cars been off for the night and i first try to start it up i have to turn the key half way then wait for a second for......something to charge?? i dont know why but if its been a few hours since i last started it i have to do this,say i stop into a store 4 something real quick when i come back out i can start her up with no prob. just turn the key all the way over and she starts but in the morning i gotta turn it half way and wait till this little humming noise quits or she'll just rotate and not start


what the hell?????

That's your fuel pump charging the fuel line. Your car needs the fuel pump to build up about 35 psi before it will start.
