I've got a Ford Falcon GLi EL series (1998) Automatic and I need to remove the rear barrel of the exhaust.
A few months ago, it started making a strange rattling noise when it was in gear (Neautral and Park are fine). I took it to the wreckers thinking one of the filter disks could have come loose and i could replace it. The guy at the wreckers told me the exhaust was pretty new, and he didn't think it sounded like a loose filter. He suggested maybe a stone or something got put in there, though he would have thought it'd have blown out by now.
SO, I want to take the rear barrel apart and shake it, and see if i can find whatever's making the rattling sound. Could anyone help me out with some instructions on how to remove it? I was told it's clipped in and I don't have to cut and weld it to take it off (which i'm not really inclined to do, it can keep rattling for all i care).
Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me any advice
