Default 90 4 L 4x4 into 94 4 L 2wd

Tx in 94 Ranger shot. Will a motor Tx combo from 90 4L 4x4 swap? I want to leave as 2Wd. Thanks

The trans is probably different (2wd vs 4wd).

You might have some different "emission control parts".

I would try to match years.
