Unhappy Where's the block heater on a 2000 Windstar?

I bought the vehicle used, only came with 1 ignition key but more importantly - no owner's manual. I searched the web and tried to find the answer, without success. There is no electrical cord coming out of the front as with older models. My service manager told me over the phone I just raise a flap somewhere on the front of the vehicle and I will find the block heater.

Help anyone???

Default

you need an owner's manual?
you may obtain one here...

Not all windstars have a block heater. I think that they are usually installed in the freeze out plug in the engine block.
This one is probably the easiest one to get to and would be where I would put a block heater.

Default it must have one

In my neck of the woods, most of the cars come equipped with one, and this vehicle originated in a far colder area of the country, so I know it has one. Instead of a cord coming thru the grill, I was told there is a built-in plug somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

I checked a copy of the online owner's manual (thanks for the link) but it was vague, telling me where on the block it is installed, not where to find the plug-in end!
