Question Trans mount different on junk yard tranny- '95 Aspire

I just got my little Aspire ('95 5spd) and the trans went out..guess they need oil Anyway, I got a junkyard box and had no trouble getting it in, well except that the front trans mount is different. Had to be something, right? So, the mount I have (from the old trans) has 4 bolts to mount to the trans itself. The new trans has a different mounting w/ only 3 threaded holes, none of which line up at all.
Where should I look for one? The yard was far away in Detroit, the trans was sent in. Yards here in Chicago don't have many Aspires. Is this something I can buy new? I basically need the trans- side bracket. Before I fab one up, I thought I search it out to see if I can't just buy the correct one. Perhaps some one here has the 3 hole mount they can sell me? Any advice would be great! Thanks!

You might still be able to get one directly from Ford, your local stealership may still have one kicking around in the parts room, you never know.

Thumbs down

i made an adapter plate for now, until I can get the proper mount. Worked out pretty good. But this trans is broken too , I think.

The trans went in no problems. The shift linkage went together no problem as well. The car starts and with the clutch in, all is well. But the car will not shift at all. It is in gear (like 3rd or 4th I think) and will not come out of gear, or shift or anything. It will not roll easy even with the clutch in. Any ideas? There seems to be no adjustment to be made... I did tighten the clutch but no better.
What do you think???
